We’re getting married!

On November 28, 2020 at 3:30pm, Deedee was at the Mukilteo Beach waiting for Roberto to go on their first date. Turns out, she was an hour early. So she waited while Roberto rushed to get ready to meet up with her. Turns out, that would be one of the best decisions she’ll ever make. On their first date they talked for hours on the beach and reminisced about how they met in college. Then Roberto drove Deedee to his favorite boba spot in U-District. From there, they kept talking in his car, listened to all sorts of music, and eventually shared their first kiss. Since that first date, they consistently saw each other every week. They started celebrating birthdays, Valentine’s Day, and holidays together. They celebrated new jobs and new houses together. They traveled to Hawaii, California, Oregon, and Canada. Every year they would go to their favorite hot pot restaurant in Bellevue to celebrate Valentines Day and find tiny houses or cabins to celebrate Deedee’s birthday. After 3 years, Roberto finally proposed and of course Deedee said “Yes!”
