Bobby and I met when I was in my last year of college at Florida State University. We met through mutual friends. While I was living in Tallahassee for college, Bobby resided in his home town, New Smyrna Beach. At the time, I was going back and forth from Tallahassee to New Smyrna Beach to visit my parents. When I’d go home to New Smyrna, Bobby and I would hang out with the same crowd and eventually started seeing each other more frequently. At the time, I just saw Bobby as a friend. However, Bobby had different intentions! If you know Bobby, you know that he’s one to often take matters in to his own hands and also get what he wants; and that’s exactly what he did! Bobby ended up making the first move. He constantly reassured me that he was the guy for me and that he would treat me better than any man that came my way. At the time, I was unsure and kind of brushed it off whenever he’d tell me these things…BUT, they say being persistent is key and Bobby was just that! Eventually, I finally decided to give “us” a shot. Plus, who was I kidding? If you’ve ever seen Bobby smile or heard him laugh, you know exactly why I could’ve never said no! Bobby is the best thing that ever walked in to my life and he always has been and still is the perfect gentleman! Now, here we are, 4 years later, building a home and life together! I can’t wait to marry my favorite person and very best friend!

The Mulberry is a traditional style Florida barn wedding venue with some modern twists. It has rustic features with southern elegance. The owners, Jessica and Kyle Mariacher, built the Mulberry for their own wedding and were the first ones to get married here. The details put into this venue are ones that you won’t forget. There are two 23-foot live edge wood bars that are made from trees that fell on the property during hurricane Matthew. The massive rustic barn doors are original from an old apple orchard barn in Indiana, built in the 1850’s. There is also a beautiful farmhouse on the property that used to be part of a working farm. The house has been renovated with updated appliances and furnishings, keeping in touch of French country venue feel. That farmhouse is where all the brides and their bridesmaids get ready now.
