Maid of Honor
Caroline and Elaina met during their first-year orientation at College of Charleston. After discovering they were both from Florida and intent on majoring in Historic Preservation, they formed a fast friendship. The two were inseparable in college, going on house museum and plantation tours together and spending late nights in drafting studio (having a not-so-great time). Over the years, Caroline and Elaina have made countless memories - from many trips to Disney that included "drinking around the world" at the fresh age of 21 (thanks, mom!) to Pitbull concerts across Florida to sitting on each other's couches to watch their favorite movie, Pride and Prejudice. They both worked in museums after graduating college and often traded calls to talk through what they were learning. Even after Caroline moved to Boston, she and Elaina remained thick as thieves, always there for each other through the ups and downs. As luck would have it, both Elaina and Caroline would get engaged and have their weddings just months apart, being able to go through their planning adventures side by side. Caroline is thrilled to have Elaina as her MOH on her special day, and will forever appreciate having found her blonde sister from another mister, or as she and Elaina like to say, the Jane to her Lizzie.
Best Man
Not only is Andrew Rob’s younger and only brother; he’s also truly Rob’s best friend, and Rob could not imagine having anyone else as his best man. Since their earliest days, Rob and Andrew have shared a love for sports, and going to games growing up is what made them very close. Whether it was playing wiffle ball in the driveway, playing PlayStation, doing fantasy baseball, or enjoying their after-school favorite catch in the backyard, Andrew and Rob have always been competitive. Baseball was truly their shared passion, as both would rattle off top prospects or draft picks daily. Even outside of sports, Rob taught Andrew how to play chess growing up, and yet, after 20+ years, Rob has still never won a game against Andrew. Another bond the brothers share is their love of adventure and trying new things. Rob and Andrew have been lucky enough to travel the world and experience different places and cultures. Rob would be the first to tell you that Andrew is the most kind-hearted and selfless person you will meet, and he cherishes all the memories they’ve shared over the years from watching This Week in Baseball early in the morning on weekends to celebrating holidays, birthdays and family gatherings through the years. Rob is grateful that he’s remained close with his brother as they’ve grown into adults. He couldn’t have asked for anything more in a little brother than Andrew and is honored to have him by his side on his wedding day.

Caroline met Amanda during their multi-day onboarding session when they started working at Harvard in 2019. Though their work rarely intersects, the two have become good friends the old-fashioned way, complaining together about the same things that drive them crazy. (Here's to always being able to answer Question 10 on our yearly Gallup poll that we both, indeed, do have best friends at work!) Over the past five years, Caroline and Amanda have become even more inseparable, whether they're carving out time each day to talk on Teams during the workday, or entering every lottery to try and win Taylor Swift tickets, or doing their annual day trip to Wells, Maine for lobster dinner. Even at the start of COVID, Amanda and Caroline kept each other in their COVID "circle" so they could still hang out everyday. One important evening of their friendship, November 12, 2021, Caroline was over at Amanda's house to visit her and her adorable dog Reggie when she told Amanda she was going to ditch her to go on a first date with this guy she REALLY liked. Amanda said "well, if it works out, you can always say you were at my house the night you met." Three years later, she's standing by our sides as Caroline marries that date.
Groomsman
Josh is one of Rob’s best friends and is like Rob's second brother. Rob and Josh met when they became roommates at Bryant University in the fall of 2009. Josh was heading to college after having served in the Army for many years. He is kind, looks out for others, is extremely outgoing, and knows how to have a great time. In fact, Rob wouldn’t be surprised if Josh was one of the first on the dance floor at the reception. Rob and Josh have been by each other’s sides through the highs and lows throughout their nearly 15 years of friendship. Early into their friendship, Rob set Josh up with his now-wife Janelle and the three of them have shared crazy memories together with their friends. All these years later, Josh and Janelle have four children and Rob has loved watching them grow up. One of Rob’s fondest memories was meeting Josh’s twin brother Jason, who Rob was always confusing with Josh when they would go out. Some of his other most cherished moments with Josh included graduating college together, spending Spring Breaks together in Florida, tailgating, playing cornhole, golfing, going to the casino (and always winning big of course!), road trips, spending time with his family, celebrating birthdays and holidays together, and being by his side at his wedding. After all this time, Rob is excited to have Josh return the favor and stand by his side on his most important day.

Caroline and Gaby became friends during their first week of seventh grade. It was a new school for Caroline, and she was going from a class of four to a class of over seventy. Gaby was what they called a "lifer" at Holy Trinity, having attended the school from an early age. Their friendship started with Caroline just wanting someone to sit with at lunch, but blossomed over the year with daily before-school walks around campus. On those walks, Caroline regularly sang some song (shocker!) and it would inevitably get stuck in Gaby's head for days on end, the most notable song being Live Like You Were Dying by Tim McGraw, which may or may not still be banned from leaving Caroline's mouth when they get together all these years later. From the outside, the two may have looked like an unlikely friendship - Caroline went on to do varsity cheer, softball, and theater, and Gaby dominated on the swim team, rode horses, and played the flute in band - but these two have been each other's ride-or-dies for over 17 years now. Trips to the beach and lunch at Thai Thai became tradition when the two were home from College, and sometimes Gaby would join Caroline for trivia night at World of Beer. All these years later, they are still there for each other through the craziness of life.
Groomsman
Alex is the first person Rob met at Bryant University and their friendship has spanned nearly 15 years. Alex was a fellow transfer student and was matched up as suitemates, alongside Josh McAloon. They connected over meals at Salmo, would grab drinks at the campus bar, spend nights off-campus in Providence, and enjoy trips to Florida for spring break. Rob and Alex moved into a campus townhouse together their senior year with some other friends. It was then that Rob learned Alex was a great chef. He would regularly make dinners for everyone, and Rob can confirm that each meal was delicious. After graduating, the two remained in touch even as Alex moved across the country. Something Rob values about Alex is that he is someone who will always go out of his way to extend an invitation and make you feel that you’re a part of the group. He also always knows how to have a good time and we have no doubt that he will be the first on the dance floor at the wedding. Most importantly, Alex is one of the most loyal people Rob knows and he couldn’t be happier to have him standing by his side on his wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Caroline and Taylor met in Pre-K at St. Mark's Academy, and I guess you could say their friendship was truly meant to be as it was nearly impossible to tell them apart, especially in their red shirt uniforms and matching haircuts (who doesn't love a bowl cut in 1998?). When Taylor lived in Florida, she and Caroline did everything together, from theater camp and dance lessons to dinners at Sonny's BBQ with extra garlic bread (which Taylor had convinced Caroline was cheesy garlic bread so she would get her slice, too). Even after Taylor moved away the summer before third grade, she and Caroline remained in regular touch, though fewer people confused them for the other one as they grew up. All these years later, the Agid and Downs families remain incredibly close, and Caroline has relied on Taylor's parents as her New England-based mom and dad from the moment she moved North. Without her friendship with Taylor and the pure kindness of her family, Caroline would have never met her husband-to-be. Twenty-six years after they donned matching red shirts playing on the Big Toy playground, Caroline is thrilled to have Taylor stand beside her on this important day.
Groomsman
Rob and Jason became good friends through Jason’s identical twin brother Josh back in 2009. They met a few months into Rob’s first semester at Bryant, when Rob went to visit Josh and his family at their home. At the time, Rob didn’t remember that Josh had an identical twin, so when the roommates arrived back at Josh’s house from Bryant, Rob was stunned seeing Josh’s clone greet them both on the porch. Rob quickly learned that their physical appearances were not where the brothers’ similarities stopped. Like Josh, Jason has an infectious sense of humor, is intelligent, kind-hearted, looks out for others, and most of all, knows how to have a good time. Jason is one of the kindest people you will ever meet and instantly makes you feel like you’ve been friends for life. He is not afraid to show his style and charisma, and will be bringing his best moves to the dance floor. Some of Rob’s favorite memories with Jason over the years include playing cornhole and Kan Jam in the backyard, car rides, golfing, trying new restaurants and bars, watching the biggest sporting events from the World Series to the Super Bowl, and of course, rolling into the casino to play a few rounds of Blackjack. Rob and Jason have been together to celebrate some of the best moments in Jason’s life from his 30th birthday to his wedding to numerous trips down to Florida for vacation. Rob is delighted to have Jason by his side as a groomsman on his big day.

Caroline is technically an only child, but if you ask her, she’s had two sisters from the moment she was born. Well, thirteen minutes into her life. Nicole and Amanda, and their parents Michelle and David, have been a second family to the Agids. They set Caroline’s parents up on a blind date in 1991, and the families have been joined ever since. Nicole and Caroline grew up together, celebrating milestones like graduations, attending theater performances for Caroline and Amanda, and of course, the annual Boxing Day game night with extended family and friends. Nicole fueled Caroline’s love of Pride and Prejudice during their summer of movie and arts & crafts afternoons, where she also learned to quote Bill and Ted. They share a love of Disney and musicals and animals, but they differ on love of science. Caroline has always looked up to Nicole for her naturally welcoming personality, her incredible knowledge, and her kindness of spirit. Caroline is so happy to have her older sister to by her side on her big day, just as the two have stood by each other their whole lives.
Groomsman
As you’ve probably figured out, Richie is the younger brother of Josh and Jason, and another bonus brother to Rob. Rob and Richie also met early into Rob’s time at Bryant in 2009, and over the last fifteen years, the two have shared many fun adventures. Richie is so much fun to be around. He’s kind-hearted, welcoming, and incredibly laid back and easy going. If you googled “good vibes” you’d probably find Richie’s picture. (Caroline knew she liked Richie from the moment she learned he had a corgi!) Charisma runs through this family tree, and with Richie, that was reflected in his confidence to grab the mic and bust out the tunes for karaoke when the guys were out at the bars. Throughout the years, Rob would see Richie at McAloon family barbecues and pool parties where you could often catch Richie flipping burgers on the grill, playing cornhole or setting up fireworks. The guys would wrap up their evenings gathered around the bonfire, swapping stories and sharing laughs about life or would bust out their competitive sides and engage in a lively game of flip cup. Rob is thrilled to have another brother in Richie beside him as one of his groomsman on his biggest day.

Amanda, like her sister Nicole, also met Caroline at the ripe old age of thirteen minutes old. They grew up as sisters and were truly bonded over their love for performing. The girls started off their years with critically-acclaimed performances on New Year’s Eve dancing in the living room or on the fireplace hearth stage for family and friends before the official Times Square show kicked in. While there is photo evidence, we will not be sharing at this time. Both Amanda and Caroline went on to do years of theatre both in high school and across Brevard County and would always attend each other’s performances. Unlike Caroline, Amanda has a love of horror movies and scary things in general, and while Caroline is so proud of Amanda's acting chops in scary films, she has yet to gather the courage to watch. Amanda, Nicole, and Caroline also shared a love for Disney and enjoyed fun trips to the parks together and were amazing teammates when it came to dominating Disney Scene It on Boxing Day game nights. Amanda’s wedding was the first wedding Caroline got to be part of, and Caroline is excited to be returning the favor to have her sister by her side again on her special day.

Rob met Paul during his junior year of high school at Thayer Academy. They shared several classes together and were both athletes – Paul played hockey and Rob wrestled. They would often find themselves spending their break periods in the Brickyard catching up on life and finding each other after school to continue their conversations. After Thayer, Paul went on to Providence College and Rob went on to Colby-Sawyer where he later transferred to Bryant University. They remained in touch throughout college and their bond grew over their shared joy of running. Starting in 2009, Paul invited Rob to his family’s annual running of the Falmouth Road Race out on Cape Cod, one of Rob’s most cherished memories with Paul. They’d spend the night before each race out in the backyard with friends and family sitting around a campfire telling stories and cracking jokes. Before it got too late, they would head to bed and wake up bright and early the next morning to get to the start line. After the race, the two would chow down on delicious (and well-earned!) barbecue with the Golden family before hanging up their racing shoes until the next year. After nearly a decade of shared races, and almost two decades of friendship, Rob is thrilled to have Paul by his side on his most important day.
Bridesmaid
Caroline first met Rob’s sister Michelle mere days before Michelle’s baby shower; the second day they spent time together was the baby shower. From the moment they met, Caroline knew she had a friend in Michelle. She was immediately warm and welcomed Caroline into her world. When Michelle had her daughter Diana, she called Caroline “Auntie” and ever since, Caroline loves every opportunity to play dress up with Diana and cherishes the flurry of text messages from Michelle with photos of Diana in every outfit she owns. While Caroline and Michelle are not technically family until the wedding ceremony ends, they would both tell you they’ve been sisters for a while now, and if you needed more proof, Michelle texts Caroline far more than she texts her brother Rob. Some cherished memories include Caroline giving Michelle, family, and friends the “insider tour” of Harvard, even sweet-talking their way into Widener Library, and driving in unrelenting rain trying to experience Norwood Day and instead ending up sitting around the dining room table with a huge platter of sushi takeout and discussing life. Caroline is thrilled to finally be getting a sister after having so many sisters since birth and is so happy to have Michelle stand by her and Rob on their wedding day.

Rob first met Brian when he started dating Karen, Rob’s cousin, back in 2002. He used to visit the two of them at Brian’s condo, and remembers hanging out and watching movies together on the weekends. It was obvious to Rob how much Brian and Karen loved each other, and he was thrilled to have Brian join the family when he married Karen a few years later in 2010. Rob was honored to be part of Brian and Karen’s special day, from going to Brian’s bachelor party in Portland, Maine to standing beside him as a groomsman with his brother Andrew. Brian has a great sense of humor and knows how to make anyone laugh. Over the years, Rob has enjoyed talking to Brian about all the Boston sports – Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins – and looks forward to seeing him and the family around the holidays. With Rob’s interest in law enforcement, he has enjoyed every one of Brian’s stories from his service with the Braintree police department. One thing that has truly tied Brian and Rob together was when Brian asked Rob to be the Godfather to his son, Colin, with whom Rob also enjoys a close relationship. Just like when Rob was growing up, he’s enjoyed spending time with Colin playing games and watching movies when they get together. Rob is so happy to finally return the favor of having Brian stand by his side on his wedding day.
