We met the way all great modern love stories start… trash-talking each other on opposing teams in an online game. A few late-night Skype calls later and one awkward-but-exciting meetup at the U of T mining building kicked off our very first date. Somehow, we both ended up at the same university. Robert two years ahead, Tiffany catching up ... but we always found time to walk to class together, study , and eat way too much poutine from the food truck. Our life together began in the dorms at Innis, then moved through every possible kind of housing: his mom’s basement, her parents’ condo, his condo, and now, finally, a place that’s ours. We’ve been through a lot ... ten years, two cats, a bunch of travels, and a million little everyday memories. One of our favourites? Driving his old Honda at night to his old elementary school, stargaze in the parking lot, and talking about the future like it was a dream. And, here we are, living it! We’re different in a lot of ways, both annoying in our own special styles, but no matter where we go or what we do, it’s always better when it’s the two of us.
