I'm not sure if either of us thought that we would really meet someone online. But one night I decided to create a profile (with Jordan's help). Within the first hour, I looked at several profiles and came across Robert's. I marked it thinking I would show it to Jordan the next day without knowing he could see I marked it :). Within 45 minutes of creating my profile, a little chat box popped up and Robert said hello. We met for our first date about a week and a half later and sat and talked for hours --getting to know each other and realizing how much we have in common. We enjoy each other's company--from riding our motorcycles, watching movies, and going to concerts to staying home and relaxing.

Rob surprised me with the proposal on Christmas Day in front of all my family and while I was in the "buffet" line. The funniest part of the story is that I had my full plate in my hand and he tried to take it from me to set it aside and I wouldn't let him take it.
