Other areas we would recommend include: * La Jolla Shores - walking distance from the reception and right on the water * Downtown La Jolla - beautiful area with lots of nice shops also right on the water * Downtown San Diego - lots of options down here if you want to be closer to the city action, and still only a 15-20 minute drive or 40 minute trolley ride from the ceremony and reception San Diego International Airport is about a 20 minute drive from La Jolla and the wedding events. You can rent cars at the airport or use ride share such as Lyft and Uber.
