Park in the Glen Tavern Inn parking lot. If the lot is full, there is street parking along Santa Barbara Street.

What should I wear? Is there a theme?

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. 1920’s-themed attire is encouraged, but not required! (Think "The Great Gatsby")

Why am I only invited to the reception? What about the wedding ceremony?

We are having a private elopement ceremony in Las Vegas, NV in February 2022, but we are excited to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family at our themed reception in Santa Paula, CA.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Answer
We do not have a hotel block. The Glen Tavern Inn is a small, 35 room hotel, offering a discounted rate to guests who make reservations by phone. Just mention the Chacon Wedding Reception when you call: (805) 933-5550

Are my kids allowed to come?
Answer
Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. We respectfully request no children under 15 years old at the reception.

Is the reception venue accessible for guests with disabilities?
Answer
The Glen Tavern Inn was constructed in 1911 and does not have an elevator. If you wish to stay overnight at the hotel, please call the Glen Tavern Inn at (805) 933-5550 to request an ADA accessible room on the first floor. All reception festivities will take place indoors on the first floor or outside.

Why the Glen Tavern Inn?
Answer
The Glen Tavern Inn is a beautiful, historic hotel built in 1911, when Santa Paula was a booming oil town. During the Prohibition, the third floor was a gambling parlor and speakeasy. We fell in love with the Glen Tavern Inn’s history!

Is the Glen Tavern Inn haunted?
Answer
The hotel has been featured on a few paranormal investigation shows. If you are easily spooked, other nearby hotel options can be found under the “Travel” tab!
