Answer
Please dress in wedding attire; suits and dresses. While the wedding is in August, the Catskills can get chilly at night so please bring a light jacket and dress in layers. We also recommend wearing comfortable but appropriate footwear, suitable for concrete and the forest, such as flats, wedges, or a dress sandal.

Answer
We highly recommend it. Because we are getting married over a holiday weekend and the Catskills are a vacation destination, you will want to ensure you can secure lodging for the weekend of the wedding.

Answer
Yes - we will be providing transportation to and from the venue. Once you find appropriate lodging, please email us at robertandpreston@gmail.com to advise where you will be staying along with the best phone number to reach you. We will be coordinating a transportation schedule with the shuttle company and will let you know your pick-up time as we get closer to the wedding date. While we recommend using the list in our 'Travel & Things to do' page for places to stay, you're more than welcome to find and book elsewhere. If that's the case and you are not planning to drive to Roxbury Barn and Estate but use the shuttle service, please look for places 5-10 minutes from the venue. Please note there are no Ubers and Lyfts in the surrounding area.

While we love the idea of little ones celebrating with us, we are keeping the wedding and reception strictly 18 and older.

Answer
The reception in the Catskills is spotty. We highly recommend having any directions to or from your destination started on your phone before leaving your current location. Quite a few GPS systems give slightly incorrect directions to the venue. The main entrance address is: Roxbury Barn and Estate 615 County Road 41 Roxbury, NY 12474

If you're planning to stay through Monday, we will be at Kirkside Park in Roxbury on Sunday August 31st at 7pm for live music and fireworks! We'll be laying down blankets so bring some snacks and drinks, and hang out with us.
