Rob and Monique's journey began with a spark of serendipity, thanks to Monique’s cousin Nicole Glasgow and her husband George, who arranged a blind double date at one of the couple's favorite restaurants on November 12, 2021, just one day after Monique’s birthday. What began with a hint of skepticism quickly turned into laughter, connection, and the feeling that something truly extraordinary was beginning. From their very first date, Rob and Monique discovered the joy of simply being together whether taking in the sweeping views of Fairmount Park at Belmont Plateau, wandering the Art Museum, strolling the Wissahickon Trail and Forbidden Drive, exploring new restaurants, or even feeding the horses. Rob was the first to reach out after that date, and by December 2021, they officially began their life together as a couple. Their time together has been filled with shared passions; cooking and barbecuing, traveling across the States and beyond, enjoying Broadway plays and live shows, cheering at sporting events, exploring farmers’ markets, beach adventures, dancing to their favorite songs, and relaxing with their beloved TV series. Their relationship is Christ-centered, loving, goal-oriented, fun, and adventurous. It is a true partnership built on mutual respect, laughter, and shared dreams. On Monique’s birthday, November 11, 2025, Rob created a day filled with music, dancing, laughter, and surprises culminating in a heartfelt proposal surrounded by family and friends. Monique said yes, sealing a promise of love that will last a lifetime. Now, as they look forward to their wedding on August 8, 2026, Rob and Monique are excited to continue building their shared dreams: traveling the world, buying a home, and starting a family, together, forever, until death do them part.
