For Robert and Mia their affection for each other began in high school at Tomball Memorial where they both attended. They both had a crush on one another but were too shy to develop a relationship then. Fast forward a few years, one October night in 2019, Mia reached out to Robert for some advice on diagnosing an issue on her Mini Cooper. Later that week they met up at Robert's shop where he fixed her car for her and they had their first date, Canes. As they say, the rest is history. After five years, Robert proposed the day before Thanksgiving where they celebrated with Mia's family in Port Lavaca at their Thanksgiving/Family Reunion.
