What is the attire?
Answer
Formal attire is encouraged for the wedding. For ladies, this could be anything from your dressiest "LBD", your favorite tea length dress, or floor length gown - all are welcome! If you are curious, our bridesmaids will be wearing midnight navy! A suit is preferred for the guys; tuxedos are not required, but welcomed if you are feeling fancy! July in Virginia can be quite warm, but we anticipate that guests will be indoors for the majority of the wedding.

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Both the ceremony and reception will be on site at Poplar Springs Manor. We are planning to have both the ceremony and reception indoors... with air conditioning! The cocktail hour will have both indoor and outdoor options.

Is there parking available on site?
Answer
Yes! There should be plenty of parking available on site.

When should I arrive?
Answer
Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. This should provide ample time to get inside and seated. Poplar Springs Manor is nestled just outside of the quaint town of Warrenton, Virginia. Please be sure to also allot time to travel to Poplar Springs Manor and find parking. More information regarding the timeline of the evening will be shared on this site in the near future!

Is transportation provided?
Answer
Transportation to and from Poplar Springs Manor will not be provided. If you plan to stay at the Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn & Suites, please be sure to also account for transportation.

Are kids or a plus one invited?
Answer
Each invited guest has been identified by name on your Save the Date or Invitation. While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event except for the ring-bearer and flower girls.

What is for dinner?
Answer
We have pre-selected a menu that will be buffet-style. We will request dietary needs, to assign a very limited number of special meals, in the near future. We tried to be as mindful as possible when selecting the base options!
