Hi, it’s Maryna. Last year, I started going to a climbing gym and saw that they offer acroyoga classes (which is partner acrobatics). Nervously, I wandered into the yoga room and Robert was the first person I saw. He was one of the instructors and made me feel comfortable and welcomed. After that class, I tried not to miss his classes, because the more I went, the more I noticed the spark in Robert's eyes when he smiled. After classes we started climbing together (but spent more time talking than climbing). That's when I started noticing that Robert is not only handsome with great legs, but also kind, funny and caring. We both felt the spark between us, but were nervous to take it any further. One night after climbing, our acro friends hosted a little get-together, and we spent the whole time talking. He was a real gentleman. At the end of the night, after receiving his text asking if I got home okay, the butterflies in my stomach yelled to me - YOU LIKE THIS GUY SO MUCH! Two days later, he gently asked me to go out. And I was ready! We went on a picnic in a gorgeous park in Glendale. And the rest - is history. Hello hello, Robert here. Well, to catch you up on some of that history... a few weeks after we started dating, we went on a trip to Portland to visit my brother and his wife. It was so much fun, and it was the first time we could see how we functioned as a couple with new challenges and adventures. After that I asked her to save the date of my upcoming family trip to the Northwest to see the solar eclipse. This came up in a mere two months, and by that time, I was fully smitten with this girl. In the small town of Cascade, Idaho, during the total eclipse of the sun, while we were practicing the acroyoga pose “Waterfall”, I proposed to her. Well, I figure you know the answer.
