Our Story
Katie and Robert met on Hinge while living just one town apart, Katie in Hoboken and Robert in Jersey City. After matching and chatting briefly on the app, they met the very next day at Greene Hook in Jersey City for their first date and ended up closing the place down.
Their dating anniversary, 11/11, has always felt magical. The numbers 1 and 4 and the color green kept appearing in birthdays, addresses, and anniversaries (Met on Greene Street, first date at Greene Hooke, Birthdays 1/4 and 4/4, Apartment 441 on Green Street). Fittingly, their wedding anniversary will be 11/14.
Over the years, they have built a beautiful life together, moving to Woodbridge, changing jobs, and becoming part of each other’s families. On 2/17/26, Robert proposed in their apartment, filling it with candles, flowers, handwritten notes, and balloons. Of course, Katie said yes!
The happy couple is excited to spend forever growing, laughing, and building a beautiful life side by side.
