Dressy casual. Sundresses, skirts, dress pants, button-down shirts, sweaters, and similar attire are all welcome. The wedding is outdoors in late fall in Georgia, so expect temperatures to be around 70 degrees when the ceremony starts and to cool as the afternoon/evening goes on, so you may wish to bring a light jacket or wrap.
The ceremony will begin at 1 PM; we recommend arriving around 12:45 PM to allow time for parking and finding a seat. The wedding will be right next to the available parking.
It will be outdoors in late October; be sure to dress comfortably.
We are renting a large party tent to protect against falling leaves and possible rain.
We will only be providing a glass of alcoholic or non-alcoholic champagne for the wedding toast. You are more than welcome to bring your own preferred alcoholic beverages.
Food will be served. The final menu hasn't been decided yet, but it will be along the lines of a BBQ dinner. We plan to have smoked meats, sides, and dessert.
There is a parking lot next to where the ceremony and reception will be held, but parking is a bit limited; try to carpool if possible.
Yes, children are more than welcome to come; just be mindful that some guests might be drinking if that's something you might have an issue with.
Yes, we will be renting tables and chairs from the company that we rent our tent from.
We plan on everyone being ready to leave around 7 PM, maybe 8 PM if everyone is still having fun.
Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. After 7 years together, we are lucky to already have everything we need for our home. If you would like to give a gift, we would be so grateful for contributions toward our honeymoon fund. However, please know that no gift is expected. Your love, support, and presence mean everything to us.
