You do NOT need a passport or any special documents to fly to Puerto Rico. Because PR is a United States territory, flights from the mainland are domestic!
You don't need a car- taxis and Uber are available and reliable. We will also have limited seats available in wedding party vehicles for various excursions, etc. That said, roads in Puerto Rico are easy to navigate and we recommend renting your own vehicle to make the most of your experience. NOTE: Rent only from nationally known rental agencies such as Alamo, Hertz or Enterprise at the airport. Other rental agencies found online offering lower rates will bait & switch at pickup, tacking on expensive additional fees and restrictions.
No. The primary language of Puerto Rico is Spanish, and signs, menus, etc are usually written in Spanish, but locals typically understand English or are happy to find someone who can help.
Puerto Rico uses the US Dollar as currency. Credit cards and Apple Pay are accepted at most establishments.
