I flew out to San Francisco to visit my best friend during the summer of 2019. We arrived home from brunch to find Robert sitting on the couch in their living room. Robert worked with my friend’s boyfriend and they both took the day off work to hang out with us! Robert and I hit it off right away (when I realized he kind of looked like Harry Potter 😂) and talked the whole day. We exchanged numbers and I didn’t think it would go anywhere, but when I got home to Orlando he asked when I wanted to FaceTime 🥲 we were long distance from Orlando to San Francisco for 8 months, Robert lived with me in Orlando during Covid in 2020 for 11 months, went back to long distance for 1.5 years, and he moved to Orlando in 2022 to be with me. We got engaged on March 15, 2025 in the privacy of my home, where Robert told me he couldn’t wait for me to be his wife. All of my dreams came true and I can’t wait to marry him!
