Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

YES! We will have a block of assorted rooms (at a discounted price) at the resort. Information will be posted in the Travel section.

Question

Are RSVPs required?

Answer

YES. Please be sure to RSVP by the listed date. Dinner will be plated, and seating will be assigned. This helps us have an accurate count for our caterers and be sure everyone has a delicious meal.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

January 3, 2023

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To be announced.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This will be a formal or black-tie optional event. Examples: tux, button up with slacks, floor length gown, cocktail dress, pant suit, blouse with dress pants.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Refer to your invitation. If it lists a plus one, then yes!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love kiddos, we ask that young children don't attend.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We will have a vegetarian option on the menu. All dinner options will be gluten free, aside from the rolls. Please reach out to the bride or groom with any other allergy accommodations,

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. The ceremony and reception are only a few steps from each other and located at the resort. Weather permitting, the suites and cabins are walking distance from the pavilion. If you stay in "Hillside" or "Cliffside" rooms, it's a 60sec drive down.

Question

What is the elevation?

Answer

8,250ft.

Question

What essentials should we pack?

Answer

If you're staying at the resort, or plan to take a dip in the Hot Springs; a long robe and sandals are a must (flipflops/slides). They make the magical experience that much better. Chapstick. Lotion. Sunscreen, believe it or not you can get sunburnt in February in Colorado lol.

Question

How far is the venue from Omaha?

Answer

Driving, about 10 hours. The best flights are into Denver, which is located about three hours from the resort.

Question

Do we have to stay at the resort?

Answer

No! There are other great little towns 15-30min from the resort that have lodging. Buena Vista and Salida, CO are the closest.

Question

Any tips?

Answer

Lotssss of water. Pack a water bottle lol. Give yourself extra time to get places. If you choose to drive or get a rental car, 4WD/AWD is best, but not absolutely necessary. If you dabble in the extra curriculars that CO has to offer, outside towns are best for purchases.
