Robert and Janella met through a social media DM (direct message). They found out that they were connected through the mighty Green and Gold, 2185 Coach Fred Harris St. Jim Hill High School. They had no idea that they would have so many things in common (small world). Shortly after the text messages, phone calls and meeting each other they knew right away that they would be soul mates forever. The connection was indescribable, even scary that on the second date they were already talking about marriage.

Robert and Janella had already made the decision about spending forever together. They were so ready that they had already started the wedding planning before the actual engagement. They even discussed when the engagement month would happen. Robert still wanted to surprise Janella even though he knew that Janella hates surprises. On the morning of October 31st Robert woke up in a good mood playing music. He waited until Janella got up and went to the bathroom and decided to cut the music all the way up, which caused Janella to open the door. And when she opened the door Robert was on one knee. Janella was speechless because she had no idea that Robert would propose on their one-year anniversary. Robert had planned a special dinner to celebrate their anniversary. When they arrived at the restaurant Robert surprised Janella by having both family and friends to join them to celebrate.
