Following the ceremony, shuttles will be available to take guests from the church to the reception at Fearrington Village. Throughout evening, limited shuttles will also provide transportation from the reception and make stops at the the Hyatt Place - Southern Village, the AC Hotel, and the Carolina Inn. Travel each way is roughly 20 minutes.
FOR THE REHEARSAL DINNER AND/OR WELCOME PARTY ON FRIDAY: The Carolina Inn only guarantees parking for overnight guests at one car per room. For non-guests, parking on property is priced at $25 for overnight parking in either the self or valet options or $30 for day parking. FOR THE WEDDING: We recommend parking in a deck as street parking in downtown Chapel Hill is limited. The closest parking decks to University Presbyterian Church are the Wallace Deck at 150 E. Rosemary St. and the UNC Morehead Planetarium Lot at 250 E. Franklin St. Off-street parking, decks and surface lots require payment Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a 10-hour maximum. On-street parking requires payment Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a three-hour maximum. For the reception, plenty of free parking is available at Fearrington Village.
You may take a rideshare service (Uber & Lyft) to the ceremony and/or the reception. However, since rideshare cars are difficult to get at night in/around Fearrington Village, we suggest taking the provided guest transportation back to Chapel Hill.
For the rehearsal dinner (invitation only) and welcome party: Cocktail attire; gentleman - sport coat or blazer, no tie. For the ceremony and reception: Formal black tie attire.
