We're getting married!

Rob and Liz met through Rob's best friend Mike. Mike was talking to Liz's roommate Hannah our senior year of college. They had planned to introduce us at a bar we always went to, Iron Bar in Morristown. We continued to talk throughout the week, and he asked me to go to dinner at his favorite bar, Fox & Hounds. After dinner he took me to the firehouse where he was volunteering at the time, which is now the town I teach in!

All of Liz's friends at school knew, they made her go out and get her nails done for her friend Joana's birthday! Liz had a feeling something might be happening because he took off of work and asked her to go down the shore to one of their favorite restaurants to eat (Off the Hook). On the way down the shore, Rob told Liz he wanted to stop at the beach and watch the sunset. Once they got to the beach there was no one there. They walked for a little while and picked up some seashells. Rob knows how much Liz likes to take picture, so he said he would go ask the people by the sand dune. Liz was facing the water and when she turned around he was on one knee! His sister and her friends were hiding and took pictures. After they left the beach, all of their friends and family were waiting to surprise them at the Thirsty Turtle. It truly was the best day ever!
