The Star District in Frisco houses the headquarters of the world-famous NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys! Full of restaurants, shops, and the Cowboys practice facility -- The Ford Center.

Legacy West is a beautiful desitnation to spend an evening. Located in the heart of Plano, head to Legacy West to shop all your favorite brands and dine at over 20 delicious restaurants and eateries!
Dealey Plaza
This is the site where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. We highly recommend visiting with Marshal Evans at his table (hopefully he'll be there). Mr. Evans is an author who has been investigating the JFK assassination since he was a teenager. He was a film consultant for Oliver Stone's "JFK" and Rob Reiner's "LBJ." The West End District is located right next to the plaza if you're looking for dinning options.
Fort Worth Stockyards
Fort Worth is where the West begins, and nothing embodies Western heritage better than the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. This is a favorite destination for the entire family. Enjoy the charm of old West!
Historic Downtown McKinney
McKinney has one of the oldest, most lovingly preserved, and largest historic districts in Texas. The downtown historic district draws people from all 50 states and more than 90 countries to its nostalgic setting and its more than 170 unique shops, including art galleries, furniture stores, antiques, gifts, home décor shops, and apparel and accessory boutiques as well as other specialty shops!
Adriatica Village
The Adriatica Village is right next to our reception venue! Transport yourself to the Croatian coast without ever leaving Texas, and enjoy walking through the charming cobblestone streets while taking in lakeside views.
Frisco Square
Frisco Square is the center of our great city. Here you will find a charming walking path, resturants, the Soccer World Hall of Fame, the local cinema, and Pizzeria Testa (our favorite pizza spot).

Scheels
The Colony SCHEELS offers over 85 specialty shops to provide an incredible selection of sporting goods, clothing, shoes, and more from trusted brands. Believed to be the largest sporting goods store in the world at the Granscape in The Colony.
National Videogame Museum
The National Videogame Museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history and culture of video games, featuring interactive exhibits and educational programs. Highly recommend visiting!
Pizzeria Testa
Our favorite pizza spot! It is considered one of the best Neapolitan Pizzeria's in all of Dallas and the first pizzeria in Texas to have the D.O.C. designation.
The Boardwalk at Granite Park
The Boardwalk connects the office buildings at Granite Park with eight unique dining options–all conveniently located at the southeast corner of Dallas North Tollway and Sam Rayburn Tollway with an unmatched waterfront view.
Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center
The Gaylord Texan is a gem in the Metroplex. We had our first date there and were engaged on September 3, 2024, in front of the main fountain. It is a very special place for us. We had many wonderful dinners there and celebrated our first Fourth of July together! It features a romantic river walk, and every restaurant is excellent. Near DFW airport.
Historic Downtown Grapevine
Historic Grapevine is a charming downtown core of the city featuring wineries, restuarants, and shopping. We had our second date at Napoli's and where Cindy first discovered Thai food at the European Food Hall.
Mandalay Canal Walk at Las Colinas
The Mandalay Canal and Lake Carolyn are truly the epicenter of our relationship. Here, we spent most of our time getting to know each other and falling in love. The waterfront offers a number of restaurants, a great walking path, and gondola rides. If you're dinning in the area check out Reservoir at the Toyota Music Factory.

The Pegasus
The Pegsus is an icon of Dallas. The original is located in front of the Omni hotel near Dealey Plaza and the other is on top of the Magnolia Hotel, its original location, in the Main Street District.

The Cigar Room at Chamberlain's Steakhouse is one of Robert's favorite spots! The cigar room features live music, great drinks, and patrons are allowed to bring their own cigars.

Titanic: The Exhibition
Starting Feb. 14. Titanic: The Exhibition is an interactive experience that tells the tale of the design, creation, launch, maiden voyage, and tragedy of the largest and most luxurious ship in the world at the time.
The Giant Eyeball
The giant eyeball of Dallas is a sculpture of artist Tony Tasset's eyeball. The sculpture is located next to The Joule hotel.
St. Jude Chapel
St. Jude's Catholic Church is located right next to the Giant Eyeball, you would never guess it was even there.
National Shrine Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe
The National Shrine Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe is the cathedral church of the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, Texas. The structure dates from the late 19th century and is located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas. We spent many Sundays attending mass at the Cathedral.
Dallas Museum of Art
We love this destination for great art and culture. General admission to the museum is free unless you wish to see special exhibits. The museum is also located next to the Cathedral.
Dallas Farmers Market
Nestled among the skyscrapers and the hustle of the city is a place where farmers become friends. In the middle of everything but away from it all, since 1941, the Dallas Farmers Market has been filled with wholesome produce and the collective fruits of our labor.
Deep Ellum
As one of Dallas's first commercial districts for African-Americans and European Immigrants, Deep Ellum is one of the most historically and culturally significant neighborhoods in the city. The lively Deep Ellum entertainment district is known for its vibrant street murals, quirky art galleries and long-time concert venues for indie and blues.
AT&T Discovery District
The AT&T Discovery District is at the heart of Downtown Dallas. It is an open plaza surrounded by local restaurants and businesses, visitors experience the nine-story Media Wall and responsive Globe sculpture, a physical representation of the AT&T logo.
The West End
Located next to Dealey Plaza, the West End is where Dallas started and offers great dinning options. We recommend visiting the area in the day time.
