FAQs

If you have any additional questions not listed here, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline and instructions are included on your formal invitation. Please RSVP by the First Day of Spring (Friday, March 20, 2026).

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults with the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love see our family and friends get dressed up with us. We encourage everyone to wear their favorite pop of color! Attire is semi-formal. Ladies are encouraged to wear tea-length, midi, or floor-length dresses or a dressy jumpsuit/set. Gentleman, suits or sport coats are encouraged and we ask for no denim or ballcaps. Please avoid white, cream, and ivory as these colors are reserved for the bride.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask you arrive by 5:15pm to find your seat. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm.

Question

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have transportation from the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront to Langdon Farms. Shuttles (bright yellow school buses) will be stationed at 4:30pm and depart by 4:40pm. One shuttle will return to the hotel following the end of the reception at 10:30pm and the other will be heading to the post party at Limelight in the Sellwood Moreland neighborhood. We may not have Ms.Frizzle, but we promise they will be magical!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and on your official RSVP through our website.

Question

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

You'll find a couple hotel blocks on the travel page and we recommend booking early. Portland is also filled with great AirBnbs and VRBOs if that's more your speed!

Question

Are the ceremony & reception outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be on grass outdoors. Our reception will be in an open air covered space.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and other devices be put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all guests can be present with us. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like and be sure to share your favorites with the bride & groom!

Question

Are there after party plans?

Answer

There sure are!! Join us for a drink after the reception at Limelight Restaurant & Lounge (an Osborn staple in the heart of the Sellwood Moreland neighborhood). We will have a reserved space for anyone who wants to come by! Please note, we will have one shuttle drop at The Marriott following the event and one will stop at Limelight (roughly 8-10min from Portland Marriott Downtown).

Question

Has Robert seen Friday Night Lights yet?

Answer

No, so please don’t ask him about it or he will start sweating.
