Since their very first t-ball game, Rob and Cara have been on the same team. Memories of this time are a bit foggy but Rob will tell you "Coach Keevey" got him the best ice cream cone post season.

Growing up in the same town, Cara, Rob, and friends spent summer days biking between the Keevey house and the Zurzolo backyard. It was also around this time Rob took Cara on their first date: a romantic bike ride to Rita's Water Ice. On a warm day, you may still find them relaxing in the lake.

When Rob was not cutting lawns, he would drive his first car (an old white pickup) to Cara's cross country and track events. Occasionally, farther trips to the shore or the lookout fire tower in the pine barrens. When it came time to go to the Prom, Cara knew she did not want it to be the last time the two of them got dressed up.

Ubers up and down 95 got expensive as the two visited each other at Temple and Widener. They planned winter and spring break trips and introduced their new and old friends. Today, the crew can still be found planning their next get together at a local bar.

The two got jobs in the city and were so excited to try out life together. Soon, a 500 square foot apartment on the thirteenth floor seemed plenty big for a Golden Retriever puppy. Enter Rue, the most perfectly untrained dog.

Rob left work early and told Cara he wanted to try out a new dinner spot. Rob knew that Cara would not go to a fun dinner without taking Rue on a long walk first; his plan was perfect. With Rue at their side, they walked along the Hudson River and Rob asked Cara to marry him. Rob continued the surprises throughout the weekend and, on the hottest day of the year, friends and family met in Central Park to toast to a life of continued friendship.
