We met through mutual friends in college. Seven years ago, our first date was at a bar at Old Dominion University. From there, the rest is history! We will always consider ODU as the place where it all began.

One of our favorite things to do together is scuba dive! Every year we love to take a week during the summer to dive and relax. Last summer, August 2018, will always be a trip to remember. We went to a place we had never been before, Roatan, Honduras. It was BEAUTIFUL! Rob, myself, his sister Liz, and her husband Jerry loved everything about the island. On the second day, August 19th, after a long day of diving, Rob suggested we all go to the dock of a restaurant called 'The Beach House', to have drinks at sunset. As Rob and I were posing for a picture, as the sun was setting, he got down on one knee and said 'I think it's about time we make this official'. I said YES before he could even get the words out! After almost seven years, Roatan will always be the place where our next chapter started.
