FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 1, 2025

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is all we request, however should you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our future together would be sincerely appreciated.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please tell us any dietary restrictions by the RSVP deadline so we can work with you and our caterer! We are having turkey and brisket for our dinner.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:45p

Question

Will drinks be served?

Answer

We will have an open bar at the reception. We will only be serving some beer and wine at the welcome party to ensure everyone can fully enjoy Saturday.

Question

Will the reception be indoors?

Answer

The ceremony is planned for outside in the grass (so plan your shoes ladies!) The reception will be indoors with an outdoor patio area available.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

As most of our guests are travelling so far, we are having a welcome party at an Air BnB we rented Friday night and will be hosting a brunch on Sunday. Hopefully this will give us time to really enjoy everyone!

Question

Do I need to RSVP to the Welcome dinner/brunch?

Answer

Both events are very informal, but we ask that you do RSVP if you will attend as Ashley will be cooking for both.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be cocktail/semi formal dress. The welcome party is casual. Bring a bathing suit and towel if you'd like to swim! Brunch is completely casual, come in your PJs if you want!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Greenwood. It's about 20 minutes from our venue and 20 minutes from our Air BnB

Question

Where to go?

Answer

Our ceremony is in the state park. If someone is working at the gate, let them know you are here for our wedding, there is no fee to park. To go straight into the reception, walk in the front doors of the museum and go to the left to the hall. Our ceremony is behind the building on the water. You can walk straight there from either parking lot to the right or the left of the main building. If you have trouble walking long distances, please reach out to Rob and I so we can assist you with where to park and have our ushers ready to help you to the water.
