Question

What is the lodging/transportation information should I know?

Answer

There are a handful of Airbnb and Vrbo options closer to Veneta, but the majority of lodging options will be closer to Eugene, which is roughly a 30 minute drive from the venue. Renting a car and/or carpooling will be necessary for most of you who are flying into town! **If you are having trouble finding or paying for lodging or transportation, please contact us ASAP and we will help!**

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a formal event, but our main outfit guidelines are to wear something you feel good in! Primary wedding colors are Maroon and Deep forest green; choosing attire within this color palette is not required though! Please note that because this event will be outdoors, the ground is likely to be soft and/or uneven in places, especially when walking to and from the ceremony area. Thin heels are not recommended!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in central Oregon is notoriously difficult to predict this time of year, so we are doing our best to be prepared for anything! Rain, wind, or sun is all possible. Also please note that temperatures are likely to fluctuate, so make sure to bring extra layers for the evening!
 Please remember that sun protection is highly recommended even if we don’t have a perfectly sunny day!

What happens if it rains?

We will do all we can to ensure a successful and enjoyable day for everyone no matter what the weather decides to do! That said, please make sure to pack layers and rain gear just in case. Our dinner and reception areas will have covered spaces in the event of rain, but the ceremony area will not. Umbrellas will be provided if necessary.

Will there be bugs?

Answer

Everything is happening in the outdoors and the ceremony itself is happening in a meadow in a small forest so bugs are possible. We are doing everything we can to mitigate the presence of bugs and will provide bug spray just incase.

Where is the venue located?

Answer

Robert’s family is graciously allowing us the use of their gorgeous property for this event. The address is 87545 Miller Road, Veneta, OR 97487. 
 Directions from EUG Airport: - Exit Airport Rd to Greenhill Rd heading south - Turn right onto OR-126 (West) - Turn left onto Central Rd - Turn right onto Perkins Rd - Turn left onto Miller Rd - Venue will be on the left. Look for the red barn!

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes! We will have parking spaces available around the red barn and on the street for guests. Certain members of the wedding party will be directing parking.
