Nothing fancy, just love

Long story short, our moms set us up. Long story long, Allison's mom, Holly, and Robert's mom, Michelle, had been friends for almost 20 years after meeting at their place of work, UC Davis Hospital. Allison had met Michelle as a preteen, and Michelle even went to several of Allison's dance performances in high school. Robert met Holly as a teenager, and she attended Kayden and Holly's baby showers! However, Allison and Robert never met. Holly and Michelle stayed in touch and remained friends when Michelle moved to Beverly Hills, and Holly would visit on her annual trip down to San Diego. On one of these trips, Allison was living in Anaheim and was invited to Michelle's house for swimming, dinner, and visiting. After an afternoon of catching up, Allison was getting ready to drive back to Anaheim when Michelle insist that she stay to meet Robert who was arriving shortly. She agreed and waited several hours. As it got later and later, Allison tried to leave again, but again Michelle insisted she stay. At about 11 o'clock at night, Robert finally arrived. The rest is history. Robert and Allison dated for five years, and he proposed where they had their first date.
