Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes, please park in the museum's free parking garage, accessed on the west side of Illinois St. just north of 30th. To walk to the manor you will exit the garage and head south on Illinois street to 30th street. Head one block east on 30th street and turn left (north) on Meridian St. The map above outlines directions from the garage to the manor. If you would prefer not to walk we recommend that your driver drop you off before pulling around to the garage, as there will not be parking available directly at the manor. If you need assistance getting to the manor, please text 217-419-5344 and we'll send someone by to drive you over! After the reception in the museum, the garage will be easily accessible through their skywalk over Illinois Street.

What is your wedding's COVID-19 protocol?

Answer

*Vaccinations are required for attendance.* Out of safety and respect for our loved ones, we politely request that all attendees be fully vaccinated prior to attending the wedding. We ask that you wear face masks during the ceremony and when you're unable to socially distance. Cloth masks will be available if needed!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the meal! Please mark any allergies or restrictions on the RSVP. Vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options are available.

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

Yes! Please help us keep our ceremony phone- and camera-free. Our wonderful videographer will be there to capture all the moments for us, and we'll have time for plenty of selfies at the reception!
