We met at....drumroll, please..... at a wedding! Both of us were vendors at a couple's wedding whom have become dear friends of ours.In fact, they will be guests at our wedding! Being polite and professional, Benjamin flashed his stunning smile at Roberta and she was immediately taken. A couple of months down the road, Roberta found the perfect opportunity to arrange a business meeting with Benjamin about photos on magnets (Magnafoto) on behalf of My VIP Tour. When she arrived, totally intending on solely discussing business opportunities, Benjamin was stylishly dressed in a suit vest and well-fitting slacks. All Roberta could think was, "shoot! I forgot how handsome this guy was... how do I look???". Needless to say, we barely talked about photography and had the most amazing evening getting to know each other over pickles and engaging conversation. Two days later, on Valentines Day, Benjamin asked Roberta to "be his lady." Roberta accepted with butterflies and excitement. Roberta was the culprit in pursuing Benjamin. She knew, almost immediately that she wanted to get to know him....and as soon as possible. As her friend Heather text her just a few days later "you said hello and my heat whispered, 'thats the one!" The moment Benjamin caught on that Roberta was only in the business of love for him, he met her with the kindness, joy and devotion Roberta had been waiting for all her life! Since meeting, almost five years ago, they have grown closer to each other, God, their families and of course, sweet Emory Rose! During COVID, Benjamin and Roberta decided to have a small wedding ceremony at Roberta's home church in Port Orange, FL. It was a lovely affair with a small gathering of close family in anticipation of the BIG celebration we planned with all of you! We quickly became pregnant and our Emory Rose will already be 1 in May! Time is fleeting. Bella is the most wonderful big sister, sharing their own special bond. We truly feel blessed! Now that the BIG celebration is fast approaching, we are ready to kick up our heels and enjoy the festivities with all of you! We happily ask for you all to dance, laugh, eat and play with joyful merriment in your hearts. We hope for nothing less than a magical evening among our dearest friends and family 🥰
