Question

Coronavirus?

Answer

As you all know we have postponed until July 23, 2020. Robert is now home from deployment, so everything is going ahead smoothly for this new date. Currently, (June 12, 2020) Tennessee has no restrictions on wedding guest count. I have spoken to my venue owner about precautions. Masks are NOT required but obviously can be worn, there is plenty of space for everyone so distancing will be very easy if desired, there will be soap and sanitizer readily available, and there is indoor and outdoor space to gather. We also are taking into consideration new options for food and drink dispensing so that guests aren't reusing the same glasses/dinnerware/etc. We want those that are coming to feel as comfortable as possible, while also not being too over the top restrictive. If you have any concerns or recommendations feel free to contact me directly.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests

Answer

Unfortunately, no. We realize that guests will be flying into surrounding cities such as Memphis and Nashville and may want to do touristy things around those areas rather than the small town our wedding is located. Guests also have different price ranges so choosing a hotel priced for all was challenging. However, we will be happy to give recommendations for places to stay.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! No need to travel to two locations. The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, and the reception inside.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes. We will be serving dinner, snacks, refreshments, and adult beverages such as beer, wine, and champagne for toasting. Unfortunately no hard alcohol is allowed at this venue, so please no flasks, shooters, or other small hidden items. They can (and will) shut down the wedding if found on the premises. This is a county rule, not just a rule from the owners of K&M Barn

Question

Who should I contact with further questions?

Answer

Robert Rodriguez (731-267-8689) Samantha Bost (719-339-1101) Sandra Bost (719-332-5551) Graci Helton (731-343-3491) Tim Helton (731-343-3853) *Call or Text*

Question

Where is your wedding located?

Answer

It is located in Atwood, Tennessee. Although some maps mark it in Milan, Tennessee. Both are correct! For flying and lodging purposes our venue is: *109 miles from Memphis *131 miles from Nashville *30 miles from Jackson

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please remember the wedding will start @3pm. Make sure you allot yourself plenty of time to find the venue, take a seat, grab a drink, etc. If you arrive early the better.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Typical wedding attire, church clothes, etc. It is Tennessee, it will be hot and humid. Dress comfortably but not too casual

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have a few items on our wedding website under "registry." If items on the registry are too expensive or if you simply would like to send us something totally different that is perfectly fine! Robert and I have been living together for a few years and already have a lot of home goods. We also need to keep in mind that we may be moving soon to another state, and also will be having to take any gifts back home to Colorado. Gift cards or our Cash Fund towards a fabulous honeymoon are our top requests. But nothing is expected, and we are simply grateful to have you all join us!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Within the invitations sent through the mail there are stamped RSVP cards. Please indicate the number attending with you on the RSVP cards. You may also RSVP through our website. I have heard that the website is giving a few individuals issues, if you cannot RSVP through the website please email me: sa.bost1230@gmail.com so that I can manually enter your RSVP.

Question

When do I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible! We request that we know for sure by June 1, so that we are able to buy the correct amount of food, drinks, cake, cups, plates, etc... there is currently no limit on gathering size at my wedding venue. They are open to full capacity! Please RSVP as soon as possible.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Yes, you can have a +1. If you have children or other family members you would like to include please contact Robert or I beforehand. More than likely we will say of course! We just want to make sure there will be enough space for everyone but also want to include as many people as possible. Please keep additional guests to +3 max (unless you have more than 3 children), and please check with us prior, if it will be more than +1.
