FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ani Muradyan and Robert Nyumah
Question

How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP?

Answer

RSVPs DUE by 07/01/26!!! We can only accommodate guests who have reserved their seats in advance. Please refer to the link on this website to RSVP. If you're having technical issues, please call or text us.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Formal evening wear is requested (tuxedos, floor-length gowns, suits, or elegant jumpsuits). Picture yourself in a luxurious, vibrant green garden or walking into the Met Gala—you are the moment! Guests are free to wear any color they prefer for a summer wedding. However, if you would like to dress within our wedding's color palette, please refer to the picture above. Please note that since the ceremony will take place on the lawn, be cautious if you choose to wear thin stilettos.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 3:00 PM in the garden. We recommend arriving by 2:30 PM to mingle and find your seat.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The Whitehall Mansion has a large parking lot just a few feet from the venue.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please visit the "WHERE TO STAY" tab on our wedding website, where we have listed several hotel options. There are also many Airbnbs in the area; just be sure to check the travel time.

Question

Is there a shuttle to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a shuttle from the hotels. We recommend carpooling or using local ride-share services.

Question

Will there be food for my dietary needs?

Answer

We’ve got you covered! Plus, you'll find delicious vegan and gluten-free options available.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited seating, please refer to your invitation and attend only with those included on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Kids are welcome! Please refer to your invitation and attend only with those included on your invitation.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

#rootedinlove

Question

Why did it take you so long to get married?

Answer

Next question!

Question

You have been together for so long, what's the point of a wedding?

Answer

We believe this question reflects cultural norms and expectations. Have you met us? Joy is our last name! Next.

Question

Are you aware of what's going on in the world? Why throw a wedding?

Answer

We believe that grief and joy can coexist. We prioritize creating safety and belonging through our actions and presence. If our wedding is affecting your sense of safety or belonging in any way, please know that you do not owe us an explanation. What we want most in the world is for you to feel safe! We love you!

Question

I can't make it. Will you be upset?

Answer

We want to reassure you that if you cannot attend, we completely understand—no hard feelings whatsoever! We recognize how challenging and costly it can be to plan, especially for those traveling from out of state. However, if you’re excited about celebrating this special milestone with us, your presence would not only brighten our day but also create lasting memories that we’ll treasure forever.
