Real Story: We both swiped right on Hinge, but Kahzonnie made the first move by sliding into Rob’s messages asking him if he was a celebrity. After plenty of funny banter back and forth, we decided to meet in a public place, which happened to be M.Bird. The moment we met in person and realized neither of us was being catfished, it was an instant match. Little did we know, M.Bird would become even more special years later when Rob returned to the very same spot to ask for Kahzonnie’s hand in marriage. Fake Story: We like to tell people we met by chance while flying to Montréal. Rob noticed Kahzonnie first while waiting at the same terminal and tried to start a conversation, but she was a little standoffish at first. Fate clearly had other plans, because once we boarded, we ended up seated right next to each other on the plane. Somewhere between takeoff and landing, we realized we both lived in Tampa. After exchanging contact information, we decided to meet up for a date at M.Bird, and the rest was history.
