Question

How Do I get to Winter Park?

Answer

The easiest way is to fly to Denver and from there drive to Winter Park along I-70 and then I-40

Question

What kind of weather should I plan for?

Answer

Winter Park is gorgeous in the fall. While we cannot exactly plan the weather, historically, Winter Park hovers around 30-40 degrees in the mornings and at night with sunny warm mid 60s during the day. When we visited, we wore our jackets in the mornings and were in light sweaters during the day but it does get chilly at night!

Question

How far is Winter Park from Denver?

Answer

The distance between Denver and Winter Park is about 100 miles and will take about 1 hour and 50 minutes. The drive is absolutely amazing nestled between mountains, lots of beautiful trees, and small waterfalls. You don't want to miss this drive so driving during the day is recommended for both scenery and safety.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The most important thing is that you are comfortable (& warm), however, if you would like to ensure that you will match us for photos you can try to stick to fall colors like rust, deep greens, brown, burgundy, terracotta orange, or tans. We would love to celebrate with everyone dressed up and fancy but if you absolutely detest getting dressed up, feel free to wear what you will be most comfortable in.

Question

When and how will I RSVP?

Answer

After formal invitations are mailed out, a tab will open right next to the "FAQs" tab and invited guests will be able to RSVP through this website. Information on how to do this will be included on our invitations, however, you can always reach out to Jessica for help.

Question

How do I know I have altitude sickness?

Answer

Many people will not experience any altitude sickness at all, but if you do, you will encounter one or all of these symptoms: Fatigue . Headache . Nausea . Shortness of breath . Problems sleeping PLEASE do not over extend yourself. While we do not anticipate the altitude being a problem, you know your body best. There are countless things to do just below Winter Park, feel free to stay at a lower altitude and visit Winter Park for the ceremony if needed.
