Friends and family, Life doesn’t always unfold the way we hoped it would, and sometimes it breaks our hearts in the process. Though many of you know we were planning to celebrate our wedding this December, Robby and I were actually legally married last year. He’s now realized that the kind of life and connection that feels most authentic to him isn’t a monogamous marriage. His path is more spiritual, unconventional, and community-oriented, and while that’s not a life that feels right for me, I respect his honesty in choosing to live in alignment with what he believes to be true. To those who made travel plans, arranged time off, or spent money preparing to celebrate with us: I am so deeply sorry. I know how valuable your time and resources are, and I’m truly grateful for the care and excitement you offered so generously. I sincerely hope we’ll have another occasion — something joyful, meaningful, and steady — to gather together soon.✨ With love, Eileen
