Postponed to 10/10/2020

After a lot of thought, we have decided to postpone our wedding weekend celebrations to 10/10/2020 due to COVID-19. Please see the "Schedule" tab for further information about the schedule of events. We sincerely hope that everyone will still be able to make this new date, and are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this causes. While we are moving our "big" day to October 10th, Robby and I are too excited to be married to wait that long. We will be having a small wedding with immediate family on our original wedding date. For those who wish to follow along with that ceremony, we will be livestreaming it at 6:00 pm on 5/16/2020 from Caroline's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/caroline.maddox1 During this time of worry and uncertainty, we hope everyone is staying well and encouraged. Things may not have gone according to plan for many of us, but we are grateful to serve a loving God who is in control of it all. Stay healthy, stay safe, and we look forward to celebrating with everyone in October! "So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:31-34

Welcome!

5•16•20

As we look forward to our big day, we can't help but look back at what brought us here. Summer of 2015 saw Robby preparing for a year of mission work in China, while I was muddling through my master's coursework at UAB. We were both preparing to apply for dental school, when we bumped into one another in Nashville and discovered our converging paths. We kept bumping into each other through the fault of our mutual friends, Sarah and Parker Adams, and Anna Claire and Taylor Davis (it seems those Boaz boys have a thing for Gadsden girls). We started to hang out together just in time for Robby to take off for the next year. Despite the distance and time difference, we kept in touch daily. During this time we both got into dental school at UAB. Upon returning back to the US, Robby made it official, and we both went from being a world apart for months to seeing each other every day. Despite that, and despite the stressors of dental school, we haven't killed one another. So, we figure if we can make it through that, we might as well try making it through life together. We are so excited to celebrate with you, and we hope to see you on our special day! Come join us at my childhood church for the ceremony, and afterward at my childhood home to celebrate. We will be cherishing our pasts, and looking forward to our future together. We have been overwhelmingly blessed by your wonderful friendships, and we can't thank you enough for the love you have shown us. "I hold you in my heart, for we have shared together God's blessings" -Philippians 1:7 Love, Caroline and Robby
