They say that love at first sight happens the second you lay eyes on each other. Sparks fly, destinies collide, and happily ever after is an inevitable ending to a cinematic masterpiece of a love story. Our journey began at our local university's finance club. It took our eyes meeting hundreds of times before that love story unfolded, but the journey was the catalyst for a love that will last a lifetime. The finance club turned into a portfolio management class, which we took together. It’s difficult to focus on a potential relationship when you’re being peppered with information about how to maximize portfolio returns. It was long after the end of the class and the club that we realized what the most important investment you can make in life is—the decision of who you want to spend it with. Fast forward to now: we have traveled together, bought a house together, gotten engaged, and brought a very toothy family member into the establishment. She has quickly claimed the house, yard, and whole neighborhood as her own. We are very excited for this next step and cannot wait to share it with all of you.
