What are my transportation options?

Answer

There are a lot of drivers for the ridesharing services such as Uber, Lyft, and taxis. Public transit is frequent with buses, skytrains, and ferries depending on where you want to go. Fares can be found here: https://www.translink.ca/transit-fares/pricing-and-fare-zones

What time does the ceremony begin?

The wedding mass at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church will begin at 11am. Please arrive by 10:45am at the latest.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Expected highs/lows of 11° / 4°C (51°/39°F). Forecast is mostly cloudy with bits of rain.

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire is requested (think suits and dresses), comfy shoes for dancing are recommended!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are keeping the wedding small and intimate with only our closest friends and family. Unfortunately we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

At Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church, there is a parking lot. At the UBC Boathouse, street parking is free for event attendees.

Can I take photos and/or post your wedding on social media?

Answer

We have a great photographer coming in for the ceremony. Please put away all devices and enjoy the event. We'll send out a link to enjoy all of them after we get these photos back. However, we would absolutely love if you took photos of all of us having fun at the reception. The more the merrier! Please use our hashtag: #RobbingAlmen on all the social media places so we can see them!
