9/11 Memorial
Visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and see the Freedom Tower. Right next to the museum is the Oculus Mall which is a beautiful structure.
Empire State Building
It is located in the heart of midtown Manhattan at 5th Avenue and 34th Street. Take an elevator to the main deck on the 86th floor or even higher to the top deck on the 102nd floor to see the stunning skyline of NYC! You will need to purchase a ticket in advance.
Rockefeller Center
The main entrance to Top of the Rock is located on 50th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Ascend 70 floors into the sky and take in sweeping 360-degree city views from three indoor and outdoor viewing decks. You’ll see the Empire State Building from the top! You will need to purchase a ticket in advance.
The High Line
The High Line is a public park with city views built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s Lower West Side. There are numerous entrances along the LWS including near the Vessel.
Vessel
The elaborate honeycomb-like structure rises 16 stories and consists of 154 flights of stairs, 2,500 steps, and 80 landings for visitors to climb. Tickets are free however must be reserved in advance.
Chinatown
Great shopping on Canal Street and Mulberry Street. Make sure you go to Pell Street for the BEST soup dumplings at Joe's Shanghai.
Little Italy
Keep walking through Chinatown and you’ll reach Little Italy! Grab a cannoli or try some authentic Italian food.
A Day of Exploring and Food in Warwick
Park your car at the Bellvale Creamery in Warwick, NY. From here you can hop on the Appalachian Trail and head south towards New Jersey. This portion has some spectacular views. When you hike back definitely get some homemade ice cream from Bellvale. After you had some yummy ice cream head over to Warwick Valley Winery. End the day with dinner at The Jolly Onion.
Angry Orchard
The Hudson Valley also has a long cider making tradition. Visit the 60 acre orchard with a stunning outdoor space for relaxing by the fireplace and sampling a variety of ciders available from the bar within our Stone Barn.
Chuang Yen Monastery
A beautiful monastery only a 45 minute drive from the venue!
