Question

Can I record during the ceremony?

Answer

As we say our vows, we ask that you join us in being fully present. Please silence your phones and keep them tucked away during the ceremony. Your presence means more to us than any photo, and we promise to share the beautiful moments captured by our photographer.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It’s always a good idea to double check as things can change - but to note a couple things about the weather up in the White Mountains: It can be very sunny (at high elevation) during the day but chilly at night - you’ll want to pack for both! Average Weather end of May in Greer: Pleasant and cool temperatures. Days can be dry and warmer with cold evenings. Highs 60-70’sF and lows 30-40’sF. Bring sunscreen!! Even though it is not hot, you will have a higher chance of getting a slight sunburn! Elevation in Greer is 8,326 feet! If you’re coming up from Tucson, Phoenix, or other lower elevations you may feel a bit winded. Grabbing some canned air at the store can help with this.

Question

What activities are there to do in Greer?

Answer

There will be activities provided in our meadows on the private grounds for our guests - these include kayaks, paddle boards, lawn games and fishing poles. Our ponds are stocked with Trout and are catch and release only. All activities are free to use - but please sign a waiver at the office or restaurant if you wish to use them. For a list of additional activities in the area - please visit the Lost Resorts website under ‘Experiences’ for details on our favorite hikes, fishing and rentals in the area! This may include things like: ATV/UTV rentals, guided rides, casting lessons, fly fishing trips, horseback riding, yoga, guided hikes, lake days, guided stargazing or big lake boat rentals.

Question

Is there cell service?

Answer

Cell service in Greer is limited but most providers service this area. You will be able to use the free guest Wifi upon arrival. There is also a WiFi code listed in each cabin.

Question

Food, Gas & Supplies

Answer

If traveling from Phoenix, you’ll want to stop for gas, supplies, or any groceries in Show Low or Pinetop, AZ. The next closest town after that to gas up or visit the grocery is Springerville / Eagar which is 25 minutes past Greer in the opposite direction. We highly encourage accounting for needing to bring some basic groceries up due to the limited amount of restaurants in town! Hours vary on certain days and during this season, they do get very busy and reservations do get booked up very fast. There is one market in Greer - The Lazy Trout! Open from 9am to 5pm each day. Here you can find a limited supply of items (and great souvenirs!) Frozen/Canned Food, dry goods, ice, alcohol. Pizza To-Go: The Lost Resorts Pizza to-go window will be available late afternoon - evening, right outside the barn! Please check the Lost Resorts website closer to the date for exact operating days and hours. Dining Options in Greer: Molly Butler’s (Lunch, Dinner) Edelweiss (Lunch, Dinner) Omnivores (Dinner) Little Fork in the Road (Breakfast, Lunch) Rendezvous Cafe (Breakfast, Lunch) Note: Brunch Buffet, Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar available Saturday morning at the Barn on site: 8:30 - 10:30am

Question

Venue Alcohol Policy

Answer

At your cabins you can drink anything you like! Please note that the barn / barn grounds do have a liquor license in place - no outside liquor is permitted inside the barn / barn grounds during service. The bar at the barn can also sell beer and wine to-go if any guests are interested in taking some back to their cabins.

Question

Cabin Check Ins & Outs

Answer

All of our check-ins are designed to be contactless so you don’t need to stop by our office in order to check in - your welcome email should include the key code needed to access the cabin. (Note: For Casitas, they will be open with the key on the coffee table for you). ● Standard check in time at Lost Resorts is 4pm. The staff should message you as soon as your cabin is ready. If you would like to inquire about an early check in, please call the office on your arrival day. Please note early check-ins are not guaranteed. ● Check out time is 10am. Check outs are also designed to be contactless; keys can be left in the lockbox of the cabin or on the main table in Casitas. Please note late check outs cannot be guaranteed and must be requested and approved by office staff prior to the morning of check out to avoid a late checkout fee. Cabin Distances from Venue: Please see the Lost Resorts cabin map for reference. All of our cabin collections are very close to the venue and have a designated parking spot at the cabin - but whether you want to walk or drive and utilize the parking lot in front of the venue is up to you: Casitas: 1-2 minute walk to venue ● Note: The Casita access road can be used to pull in front of the Casitas to unload luggage. We ask that cars are then parked in the main parking lot in front of the office following check in.

Question

Getting Around - Parking

Answer

The parking lot in front of the office will be available for all guests choosing to drive to the venue. Cars can be left overnight in the parking lot if needed. As parking is limited, we recommend the quick walk to the venue from those collections that are directly on site (Casitas, Historic Greer Lodge, Riverbends). ● Note: If you are a guest with mobility issues who may need assistance to the Ceremony area, please text our coordinator, Lizzie, at (520) 250-9177 the day prior to the Ceremony. Our staff can provide transport down to the Ceremony.

Question

Getting Around - Walking

Answer

The beauty of our venue is a rustic one that doesn’t always conform to paved roads! Please note - the parking lot and venue grounds have areas with only gravel / rocks, grass, and some slopes - We kindly ask that you watch your steps and plan accordingly regarding footwear.
