The first time I saw him was at a Church I had attended one Sunday in 2013. It wasn't the church I normally attended but they had a special service we went to that day. Afterwards, My Mom, Brother and I went to eat at Los Aztecas and he was there again. My mom kept telling me that he kept eyeing me but I never saw it! I knew somehow I knew him through mutual friends and sent him a friend request on Facebook. He immediately accepted the request from me! I let him message me for about a year or so before I finally hung out with him. I didn't want to hang out with him at first because he had earrings HAHA! I invited him to a party at my Best Friend Mary's house and he came. When he arrived I was so nervous. I knew it was meant to be! We hung out just a few more times before we made it official in Indy downtown one night on January 16, 2015. From then, we have grown so much together and have become best friends. I couldn't image life without him and Hank. For the proposal story, I was told I was being put in a drawing to win a free photo session. A few days later I told him that I won the free session and we decided on the date of April 22 for the pictures. Towards the end of the session we got a chalkboard and were told to write on it something that we liked with our backs to each other. I wrote on my board "I like your beard" he wrote on his board "Will you Marry me?." When I turned around I immediately started crying and knew the answer was obviously "YES." With that being said we agreed to a Spring Wedding because we didn't want to wait until next Fall. We hope you all make it to celebrate with us on May 18, 2019. It will be a day neither one of us will ever forget :)
