We’re getting married!

Kaitlyn and Robbie met through mutual friends many years ago, but it wasn’t until 2019 that fate brought them back together. Their first date was a muddy, slightly chaotic off-road trip through Big Sur, and they’ve been chasing adventures together ever since.

For Kaitlyn and Robbie, Lake Nacimiento isn’t just a summer getaway—it’s their happy place. It’s where Robbie asked Kaitlyn to be his girlfriend (and celebrated by tossing her in the water), where he asked her dad for his blessing, and finally, where he asked Kaitlyn to marry him on June 14, 2025. After a day of fishing, swimming with their dog, and dinner with friends, Robbie popped the question at sunset—and she happily said yes, starting the next adventure of their lives together.
