Travel Note
In true Upper Valley style, we're splitting the weekend between Vermont and New Hampshire. Hanover, NH will be our home base for the weekend. Transportation will be provided from Hanover to Tunbridge, VT for the wedding on Saturday. Note: Hanover can be a bit more expensive than neighboring towns on both sides of the river, but is more convenient if you don't plan to have a personal vehicle. We have arranged a couple of hotel blocks, but if you'll have your own transportation we encourage you to take a look at some of the other charming inns, bed-and-breakfasts, and Airbnbs in the area. We've listed some of our favorites further afield beneath our Hanover picks.
Flight
The Upper Valley is not-so-conveniently located roughly 1.5-2.5 hours from a handful of airports. Burlington, VT (BTV) and Manchester, NH (MHT) are the two closest, though flights in and out are extremely limited. Boston's Logan Airport (BOS) while 2.5 hours away, offers more flights, more convenient flight times, and bus transportation to Hanover.
Rental Car
Not actually a rental car, but the wedding website didn't have a bus icon. This is the easiest way to get to Hanover for those flying into Boston. Free water and pretzels always provided. The Dartmouth Coach also departs twice daily from NYC.
Hotel
Upscale accommodations right on the Dartmouth green. We were able to negotiate a group rate of $229/night, which makes this the most affordable option in downtown Hanover. An extra convenient choice since we're hosting welcome drinks at the inn!
Discount Code - To receive our group rate, please book over the phone.
Hotel
A slightly more affordable option, less than a 10 minute drive from downtown Hanover. Offering 15% off rooms for the weekend. Please note: the group rate reservation link has been finicky; reservations may also be made over the phone.

Hotel
A spacious, cute, and comfortable inn across the river from Hanover. A great option if you're looking for a B&B feel without the forced intimacy. One of Allie's favorite places to stay when she was first thinking about moving back here. Rooms start at $239/night.
Hotel
If you plan to have a vehicle while you're in the area, White River Junction is 15 minutes from downtown Hanover and has a handful of slightly more affordable hotels. We've heard good things about the Hampton Inn, but there's also a Holiday Inn, Fairfield Inn, and more nearby.
Hotel
Another good option a bit further afield. Good for those looking for a more affordable option than downtown Hanover with a bit more charm than the hotel chains in WRJ—just as long as you don't mind low ceilings. True country B&B with a tasty breakfast and a fun tavern. Fifteen minutes to Hanover.
