Robby and I bumped into each other in downtown Olympia, WA on July 3rd, 2018 at a local brewery. Robby was an Army Ranger SSG stationed in Fort Lewis. At the time I was a student, Firefighter/EMT, and managing at my Mother's Cafe. It was a perfect timeing kind of scenario, we can both agree it was God's timing that brought us together! We now live in Houston, Texas in Robby's hometown and just bought our first home!

We had a family Disney World trip planned for October 12, Robby had initially planned a proposal at Disney..... but, I knew something was going on and we had talked about getting engaged. Robby did not want me to see it coming, we were living with his Mom Diana, and Tom his step Dad while we found a house they went out for a date night and had set up a little date night for us as well. They lit the outdoor fireplace and had candles lit for us. As Robby and I were sitting outside by the fire he swooned me with all the mushy stuff and told me he had to grab something real quick inside. When he walked out my pug Tank ran to me with a red ribbon around his neck with a ring attached! The rest is history! 🥰😘
