When is the first deposit for reserving the room due?

We ask that all our guests put down the first deposit by February 28th.

Answer

The final deposit is due April 1st of 2025.

What to expect when booking a room with one of the resorts?

Answer

Both resorts are all inclusive. You can expect your room, food and drinks to be included in the total price of your stay.

Will there be transportation from the airport to the resort and vice versa?

Answer

Yes! The resort will provide roundtrip transportation to the resort from the airport and vice versa. You will not need to wait or be in a group. You just need to provide Modernly with your flight information so they can ensure your transportation is scheduled. You can ask them further details when you reserve your accommodations.

What will the weather be like during our travel?

Answer

The temperature range is typically 78 to 88 degrees in the daytime. In the evening it typically hovers around the low 70s. The Dominican Republic is in the Carribean so please expect high humidity and possible rain.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome to Dominican Republic. However, our wedding weekend will not be tailored to include children therefore all parents will be responsible for their children's itinerary. The resort where the wedding ceremony will be held is adult-only. Unfortunately, people under the age of 18 will not be permitted to attend the reception.

Can you drink the tap water in Dominican Republic?

Answer

No, you cannot drink the tap water. I suggest you avoid the following: 1. Ice in drinks 2. Brushing teeth with tap water 3. Drinking coffee unless you made it yourself 4. Eating salad or fruit anywhere except your resort
