Well, what can we say? Rob and Pedro met the way most people meet these days...on an app. It was 2017 and Rob was living between the Farmer's Market and Deep Ellum, and Pedro was just a few blocks away in the Lone Star Gas Building. They instantly connected through their humor and their cool, laid-back approaches to life. After going on dates throughout that Fall...after being each other’s plus ones at parties, hockey games, and helping Rob purchase a condo, Pedro invited Rob to his apartment downtown for New Year's. This was the one where they nearly froze walking back from seeing the fireworks in trinity groves and where Rob demonstrated his love for Madonna in front of Pedro for the very first time (there may even be video proof on Pedro's phone). It was then that they decided they didn't want to see anyone else. The rest, as they say, is history. It's been 6 years of weddings, vacation trips, hospital trips, meeting family, a freaking pandemic, getting another dog, moving in together, buying their current home, and so much more.
