Train
Flying into the Baltimore airport is sometimes cheaper than flying into Reagan. If you choose this option then grab the MARC train from the airport to DC. The train is very easy and will cost $7 each way.
Travel Note
-If you fly into Washington's Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA), you land just outside the city in Virginia. The Metro, or a 15 minute cab/uber will get you into DC proper -If you fly into Washington Dulles Airport (IAD), you'll be further away-about a 50-minute cab/uber. -If you fly into the Baltimore Airport (BWI), you'll be about the same distance as you would be from Dulles (about 60 minutes), but there's an easy train option to get into the city (see the info on this page about the MARC train).
