International Rose Test Garden
This free garden is very unique to Portland and one of our favorite places to take visitors. The garden is home to hundreds of rose variations that you can walk around and view. Great photo opporunities!
Salt & Straw Ice Cream
This is our favorite ice cream! We love it so much we will be having it at the wedding, but if you want to get your fix in, we recommend visiting any of their locations in town.
Multnomah Falls
30 minutes east of Portland, Multnomah Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in Oregon. At over 600 feet high, there are multiple view points including an easy and accessible hike to the top.
Argyle Winery Tasting
45 minutes South of Portland. Especially known for their sparkling wines
Ponzi Vineyards
35 minutes South of Portland. The tasting room boasts fireside seating, a covered terrace, bocce ball courts, and panoramic views
Leif Erickson Trail
This is one of Britany's favorite running trails. It's the widest, smoothest trail within Forest Park. Good for runs, or bikes. Every 1/4 mile is marked clearly. Note trail is a gradual uphill from this trailhead. Good for a long out and back.
Mediterranean Exploration Company
One of our favorite restaurants in Portland and only a short walk from the hotel. The labneh and the fennel salad are on our must order list.
10 Barrel Brewing Portland
Rooftop deck, large beer selection, and classic brewery food. Go here for beers and snacks a short walk from the hotel.
Pine State Biscuits | NW 23rd
Breakfast chain throughout portland with counter service or sit down for hearty biscuits piled with breakfast classics or fried chicken
Bamboo Sushi
High quality local sushi chain with flavorful rolls as well as more traditional nigiri and sashimi. Our go to order is the Green Machine roll and the Gin Henson Cocktail. Go here for a memorable sushi dinner and try salt and straw ice cream next door for dessert
Breakside Brewery - NW Slabtown
Some of Portland's best IPAs with a large indoor space as well as outdoor seating. Great for a afternoon drink while walking around the NW 23rd area
Serratto Restaurant and Bar
Italian + Mediterranean restaurant with local ingredients and tasty pasta options. Go here for a relaxed evening dinner.
Departure Restaurant + Lounge
Modern Asian cuisine from a Top Chef alum. Located on the 15th Floor of a local hotel it includes an awesome view of the city. Go here for a sophisticated dinner and drinks
Bollywood Theater
Indian street food restaurant that is probably our most visited food spot in Portland. Go here if you are looking for a quick but adventurous option and make sure to try the Pav Bhaji (Brit's favorite)
