Blaire and Robert met on Hinge after she liked his prompt, “Where can someone usually find you at a party?” His answer was “on the floor playing with the dog.” After just a few exchanged messages, they decided to meet in person. On a Thursday afternoon after work, they met at City Park in Fayetteville. Blaire of course brought her dog, Winston, and they just hit it off. That Saturday, they went on a second date to the Farmer’s Market where yet again, Blaire brought Winston. Now, “her” dog became “their” dog and over a year later they are planning a wedding!

After getting to Estes Park for their Colorado trip, Blaire and Robert went to dinner at a restaurant on Lake Estes. The setting was stunning - dinner by the window overlooking the lake on a drizzly June day, watching the storm roll in over the Rocky Mountains. Robert’s plan was to propose after ordering an appetizer and drinks, but the weather made him wait a little longer. After dinner, Robert and Blaire strolled outside to look at the lake. Robert got down on one knee saying “I love being on this adventure with you and I want to go on every adventure with you for the rest of my life.” Blaire didn’t even let him finish the question before answering “Yes! Yes! Yes!” Giving him a kiss and helping him up, she didn’t look at the ring until it was on her finger.
