Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at Bay View Weddings on Gallagher Farms. The ceremony will be held outside overlooking West Grand Traverse Bay, and the reception will be outside and under a tent.

Is there a dress code?

We'd love for our guests to be in garden party formal attire. Fun color, textures and patterns are welcome. Keep in mind, the entire event will be outside.

We love your kiddos! However - this is an adults only event, with the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party.

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited.

Will there to transportation to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

A shuttle will be picking up guest from Residence Inn at 3:00 pm. *For any guests staying at Alexandra Inn, please use transportation from Residence Inn. Residence Inn is directly across the street from Alexandra Inn. However, because it is a busy street, we suggest using the crosswalk and allowing yourself 10 minutes to get to Residence Inn for transportation. A shuttle will be picking up guests from Hotel Indigo at 3:15. Shuttles will be transporting guests from the wedding venue to hotels at 9:00 pm, 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm. For any guests who would like to attend the after party, the shuttles drop off guests at the afterparty at 11 pm. *Note - if you plan to attend the afterparty and are staying at the Residence inn or Alexandra inn, we highly recommend arranging your transportation home in advance as there are very few ride shares in the area.
