Tale as old as time.....Bumble. 🐝 We matched on a Wednesday and immediately the sparks were flying. We texted all hours of the day until Rob asked me to dinner. I was worried that dinner was a little too formal so I was starting to backpedal. But my best friend, Zach, told me to embrace my "just say yes" era and go for it. Rob got back to me and it "just so happened" he would be in my area a few days before our planned date and invited me for impromptu drinks. Channeling my inner Zach, I said yes. We met in Annapolis at Chevy's. It was pretty late and they were closing. The waitress tried to turn us away, but ever the charming gentleman, Rob asked for two quick drinks. (He'll deny it but he has since said that an IPA and a house margarita were the best purchases of his life). We talked for an hour or so before he walked me to my car. That was it. It has been love ever since. ❤️
Rob proposed on the balcony of our hotel in Sorrento, Italy at sunrise. It was perfect. That afternoon, we picked out the wedding band together with my son, Tyler. That evening we got to break the news to Rob’s entire family while we were all in Italy. It was a perfect day from start to finish. 💍❤️
